Algorithm will design clothes

Will artificial intelligence now take over fashion? Will we dress ourselves thanks to prior computer analysis of social media trends? We explain!

Finesse is a start-up founded by Ramin Ahmari. He claims that fashion is no longer as hermetic as it used to be, and fashion trends are to be shaped not by designers, but by… an algorithm.

On what principle will it be based? Namely, clothing designs would be created based on a lot of data collected by social media and influencers. Ahmari believes that this is the best direction, which will indicate trends in the world of fashion, predicting with high probability what customers will actually expect in the near future.

Investors interested in the idea have already donated $4.5 million to Finesse. Will the artificial intelligence-like idea prove to be a hit, or will it be the opposite? Will Finesse release a collection of clothing that will delight customers?
