Beautiful and thick eyebrows are a dream of every woman. No wonder – if they are adjusted, groomed and emphasized, they can give character to the whole face and any makeup. But what to do if they are rather thin and sparse?
Every well-groomed woman should have her eyebrows groomed and highlighted. Sometimes, however, the hairs are rather thin and few in number. There are several home remedies to thicken them and make them shiny, healthy and beautiful.
Castor oil is an ideal method to stimulate hair growth. Women have been reaching for it for years to nourish their strands and stimulate their hair follicles. It can also be applied to eyebrows and eyelashes. This is a very good and inexpensive method because a bottle with the oil can be bought in any pharmacy for just a few zlotys. Castor oil contains antioxidants and these help to rebuild keratin, which makes hair smooth, strong and thick. The oil should be applied and gently massaged into the eyebrows to stimulate the hair follicles. Wash it off after 30 minutes. This treatment should be done as often as possible, even daily. After a few weeks the first effects should be noticeable
Few people know that onions are good not only for soup – they also help hair grow and make it shiny and healthy. It has the same effect on eyebrows. All you need to do is chop or blend onions to make a paste. Put a little bit on a cotton ball and rub it into your eyebrows. Leave for several minutes and wash with lukewarm water (you can add a bit of gel or shampoo to get rid of the unpleasant smell). It is worth to do such a rub at least twice a week. After a few months of such treatment, hair will be noticeably thicker and shinier.
Yellow yolk is used in many hair conditioners because it contains biotin, lecithin, vitamins A, D, E and K as well as minerals (e.g. sulphur, zinc, phosphorus, iron). These ingredients promote hair growth and make it thicker and denser. Therefore, egg yolk is perfect for eyebrows. Just whisk it, apply it to the hair and leave it for about half an hour. For better results, you can add honey, vegetable oil and a little lemon to it. The treatment is recommended to be repeated 2 times a week.
Lemon also stimulates hair growth, so it is a great way to thicken eyebrows. Although most people associate it with vitamin C and reach for it to boost their immunity and get rid of colds faster, lemon also has great cosmetic properties. It nourishes, regenerates and strengthens hair. If you want to have beautiful and thick eyebrows, you should massage them for a few minutes with lemon slices. You can also make a mask of lemon, honey and egg yolk. Such a slurry should be applied for about 20 minutes and washed off with lukewarm water. However, you need to remember that lemon has lightening properties, so your eyebrows may slightly change their shade.
Olive oil is called a beauty elixir. It can be used for hair, skin and nails. The most valuable oil is the extra virgin oil made in cold. If you apply it to your eyebrows, you can be sure that they will become nourished, regenerated, strong, shiny and noticeably thickened. This is because olive oil is packed with vitamins and nutrients that fill hair cells and improve their condition. How do I apply olive oil? The easiest way is to put a few drops on your fingertips and massage them into your eyebrows. You can leave the oil even for a few hours. Then wash it off thoroughly or wipe it off with a cotton ball.
All the above-mentioned specifics affect the eyebrows, so they also work on the hair. So you can make masks and apply them to both. A good way is to combine different products (especially that most of them can be found in our kitchen), then their effect will be stronger.
